Congratulations on taking the first step in becoming a Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA). To become an SRNA in Kentucky, you must attend at least 75 hours (59 hours of classroom time and 16 hours of clinical experience) of approved nurse aide instruction. Manchester will offer a 9-week program beginning March 19 and a 4-week program beginning May 20. Class size is limited to 15 students on a first-come, first served basis. After you complete the required training, you must take a nurse aide competency exam. To be admitted to the SRNA program, applicants must be at least 16 years old and not listed on the KY abuse registry.
